Originally from the South, Alice Murdoch lives in Vermont and maintains her studio in Burlington. She studied at the University of Vermont, the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT and the Art Students League in New York.
She has exhibited extensively throughout the East coast and the South, and is in many corporate and private collections thoughout the United States. She paints in oils and is known for her social commentary and her bold, colorful approach to her subjects.
